2. Scope of the Service
EPR Specialist.AI is a B2B SaaS platform providing AI-assisted informational support on Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) regulations across EU member states and selected third countries. The platform is intended for use by compliance professionals, sustainability officers, legal advisers, and consultants.
3. Nature of the Service — Not Legal Advice
The service does not constitute legal advice. AI-generated responses are informational only and intended as decision-support. They may be inaccurate, incomplete, or not yet reflect the most recent legislative changes. The final decision on any compliance matter rests solely with the user or the responsible professional. The Company accepts no liability for any action or omission based on information provided by the platform.
The platform operates pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act) and is designed to allow meaningful human oversight of AI-generated outputs.
4. Eligibility and Account
- The service is available to legal entities and professionals acting in a professional capacity. Use by consumers (within the meaning of consumer protection law) is not the intended purpose of the platform.
- You must provide accurate registration information and keep it up to date.
- You are responsible for the security of your account credentials.
- Accounts are personal and non-transferable. Sharing credentials with third parties is not permitted.
5. Subscriptions and Payment
- Subscriptions are offered on monthly and annual billing cycles. Prices are displayed inclusive of any applicable taxes.
- Payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. as an independent payment service provider.
- Annual subscriptions are non-refundable after the 14-day cancellation window; monthly subscriptions may be cancelled at any time effective at the end of the billing period.
- The Company reserves the right to modify pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
- Subscription plans include geographic and stream locks as described at the time of purchase. Locks cannot be changed after the first use of the plan.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- use the platform to generate content intended to mislead regulators or third parties;
- attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or systematically extract the regulatory knowledge base;
- share, resell, or sublicense access to the platform to third parties;
- use the platform in any way that violates applicable law.
7. Obligations of Professional Users
Users who employ EPR Specialist.AI in the context of professional services rendered to third parties (including clients) are
independently responsible, pursuant to Article 13 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (EU AI Act), for:
- informing their own clients of the use of AI systems as a support tool in the delivery of services, in clear, plain and comprehensive language;
- exercising independent professional judgement before relying on AI-generated outputs in professional recommendations;
- complying with any sector-specific obligations applicable to their profession (legal, accounting, consulting, etc.).
The Company bears no responsibility for the disclosure obligations that professional users owe to their own clients, nor for any professional liability arising from the use of AI-generated outputs in professional services.
8. Intellectual Property
All content, software, and branding on EPR Specialist.AI are owned by or licensed to the Company. The regulatory texts included in the knowledge base are official public documents; any summaries, analyses, or structured outputs generated by the platform are the property of the Company.
Users retain ownership of the queries they submit. By using the platform, users grant the Company a limited licence to process query content for service delivery purposes as described in the Privacy Policy.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law:
- the Company's total aggregate liability to any user for any claim arising under these Terms shall not exceed the amount paid by that user in the 12 months preceding the claim;
- the Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profit, loss of data, or regulatory penalties, even if advised of the possibility of such damages;
- the Company makes no warranty, express or implied, as to the completeness, accuracy, or fitness for purpose of AI-generated outputs.
10. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the law of the Republic of Estonia. Any disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Tallinn, Estonia, without prejudice to mandatory consumer protection rights where applicable.
11. Changes to These Terms
The Company may update these Terms at any time. Users will be notified of material changes via the email address associated with their account at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of the platform after that date constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
