PPWR: Italian Ministry (MASE) Publishes Self-Assessment Tool for Packaging Operators

The MASE has made available a self-assessment instrument for enterprises and operators in the packaging supply chain to evaluate their compliance with the Packaging and Packaging Waste Regulation (PPWR). This tool supports producers and other stakeholders in understanding and implementing the requirements of the EU regulation, including obligations related to packaging design, extended producer responsibility, and packaging waste management targets. The initiative aims to facilitate compliance across the Italian packaging industry with the new EU regulatory framework.
